If you have learned elsewhere, the first session can assess your existing standard. You will not automatically be asked to repeat every beginner subject. The instructor will identify what is secure and what still needs development.
Nervous pupils can request a gradual approach with clear explanations and manageable objectives. Refresher tuition is also available for qualified drivers returning after a break or becoming familiar with local roads.
Manual, automatic and test preparation
Manual lessons include clutch control and gear selection alongside observation and planning. Automatic lessons remove manual gear changes so that pupils can focus more fully on the road. Availability can differ between the two options.
Test preparation may include manoeuvres, independent driving and mock-test-style assessment. We teach transferable driving skills rather than claiming a guaranteed Doncaster test route.
